The hidden memory of objects.

We are surrounded by silenced objects. At Struunt, I explore their hidden language, transmuting forgotten fragments—worn wood, the patina of time—into poetic visual sculptures.

I do not seek perfection, but texture, scars, and the dignity of the unseen. Struunt invites you to elevate these memories, turning stored emotion into a timeless piece for your private collection.

Ancestral Minimalism.

A study of stark forms against the void.
Where utility ends, sculpture begins.

ABOUT STRUUNT

Two Lands, One Memory

I am Javier Alarma. My work stems from an obsession with time trapped within matter.

Struunt is the result of a journey between two opposing worlds. On one hand, my roots in the Redes Natural Park (Asturias, Spain), a territory of rugged mountains, dense forests, and chestnut wood: the home of the madreña. On the other, my fascination with water engineering and the vast horizontality of the Netherlands: the home of the klomp.

Despite the distance, both objects tell the same story: human resilience. The struggle against mud and moisture.

My process involves rescuing these ancestral artifacts—whether from Asturian shepherds' huts or Dutch polders—and, through light, restoring their dignity. They are not merely clogs; they are sculptures forged by use, climate, and history.

Javier

At Struunt, we do not see discarded objects; we see silenced history. We rescue forgotten artifacts—weathered wood, oxidized metal, remnants of a past life—and transmute them into visual compositions that speak of memory and dignity.

Each piece is more than an object: it is a moment suspended in time, an echo of craftsmanship and nature, captured through the lens.

We do not seek the artificial perfection of the new. We honor the profound, quiet beauty of the imperfect.

COLLECTORS CARE & GLOBAL LOGISTICS

At Struunt, acquiring a piece of art is just the beginning of the journey. We understand that our collectors are not just buying an image; they are investing in a legacy. Therefore, we treat logistics with the same precision as the artistic process.

The Certification Every limited edition artwork is inspected by Javier Alarma. It arrives with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity (COA), featuring a holographic security seal to guarantee provenance and future value.

Materials & Process

We work exclusively with reclaimed wood and traditional Dutch clogs (klompen), reshaping them into sculptures and photographic still lifes. Every element is hand-selected for its texture, wear, and origin. Through a meticulous process of cutting and composition, the material itself guides the final form.

Our artistic photography captures these works under controlled light, evoking calm, reflection, and timelessness.
